2 Brothers on the 4th Floor is een Nederlandse danceact, bestaande uit rapper D-Rock en zangeres Des'Ray. De groep maakt eurodance muziek en was vooral in de jaren negentig erg populair. Niet alleen in Nederland, maar zelfs in de Noord- en Zuid-Amerika en Afrika.
De groep werd opgericht door twee broers: Bobby en Martin Boer. Zij waren al jaren met muziek aan het experimenteren op hun slaapkamer, totdat het nummer Can't Help Myself in 1990 opeens een grote hit werd. De track scoorde onder andere een nummer 1-notering in de Amerikaanse Dance Charts. Omdat de broers zelf niet wilde optreden lieten ze het dat over aan rapper Da Smooth Baron MC, zangeres Peggy en diverse dansers (onder wie Sylvana Simons).
Na verschillende hits zoals Never Alone en Dreams begon de populariteit eind negentiger jaren toch te dalen. Zodoende werd er in 2001 besloten om met de groep te stoppen. Maar niet voor lang...
In 2006 kwamen de 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor weer samen voor een eenmalig optreden waarna op veel verzoek besloten werd om weer vaker te gaan optreden. Inmiddels is de groep weer op menig podia te zien. Vooral bij festivals met een 90's tintje.
